"So proud of my baby girl."
John Travolta is having a proud dad moment after his daughter Ella Bleu's head-turning red carpet appearance at the 2026 Fashion Trust U.S. Awards. Taking to Instagram, the Paradise City actor celebrated his 26-year-old "baby girl."
"Look out for Ella in my directorial debut, 'Propeller One-Way Night Coach,'" Travolta wrote in the caption, which accompanied a behind-the-scenes glimpse of his daughter at the event.
In the photo, Ella is posing for a photographer in a long-sleeve black gown covered in sparkling floral embellishments. Designed by David Koma for Blumarine, the dress featured a sheer, floor-length top layer over a solid black under-layer that fell just above Ella's knee. The actress paired the monochromatic look with soft makeup and a glam, Pamela Anderson-inspired updo.
As for Travolta's aforementioned directorial debut, the 72-year-old is finally stepping behind the camera with Propeller One-Way Night Coach, which is slated to premiere at Cannes Film Festival in May 2026. Travolta also wrote and co-produced the movie, which stars his daughter Ella, Clark Shotwell, Kelly Eviston-Quinnett, and Olga Hoffmann.
Propeller One-Way Night Coach is based on Travolta's 1997 children's novel of the same name. It follows a "young aviation enthusiast," played by Shotwell, who takes a cross-country flight to Hollywood with his mother (Eviston-Quinnett). Ella and Olga play flight attendants named Doris and Liz, respectively.
"So very honored and excited," Ella gushed on Instagram when the news broke that the film would premiere at Cannes. "incredibly proud of you and this film, @johntravolta 🙏."
Travolta, for his part, also said that he was "honored" and thanked the film's partners at Apple TV. One day later, he wished his lookalike daughter a happy 26th birthday on Instagram. "Happy birthday, my baby girl," the Pulp Fiction star wrote. "I love you so much and forever!!"
