MEET THE STARS OF SAMUEL L JACKSON'S NEW TAYLOR SHERIDAN SHOW
When Samuel L. Jackson was announced as the lead in the new Taylor Sheridan show, Frisco King-which is a spinoff of Tulsa King-fans were over the moon and needed to know more about the series. And while many of the details surrounding the show do remain a mystery, Sheridan followers finally know one key piece of information: who's going to be starring in it. Samuel L. Jackson as Russell Lee Washington Jr.
Jackson is an Oscar nominated actor best known for his work in Pulp Fiction (1994), Shaft (2000), The Incredibles (2004), Snakes on a Plane (2006), Turbo (2013), Kingsman: The Secret Service (2014), The Hateful Eight (2015), Glass (2019), Argylle (2024) and Tulsa King (2025), as well as a number of Marvel and Star Wars movies. In Frisco King he will play Russell Lee Washington Jr., a former inmate and friend of Tusla King star Dwight "The General" Manfredi (Sylvester Stallone) who moves to Frisco, Texas to build his own criminal empire. The actor will also help executive produce the show.
"I watched Tulsa King, and I liked it even before that idea came up," Jackson told Collider in June 2025. "I know very little about what's going to happen. I don't know the character's name. I don't know what our history is. I don't know anything about it, but I do know that I'm very anxious to jump into it and find out what it's going to be."
Jackson is 77-years-old and has been married to LaTanya Richardson Jackson since 1980. They have one daughter.

Asa Germann as Teddy
Asa Germann is an up and coming actor who has worked on Monster (2022), The Boys (2024), Gen V (2023 to 2025) and Scream 7 (2026). He will play Teddy in Frisco King, a college dropout who catches Lee's attention.
Germann is 28-years-old and originally from Los Angeles, California.
Kai Caster as Keith
Kai Caster will play Keith, a local valet worker, in Friso King. Prior to this, Caster was in House of Lies (2012), American Horror Story (2018), A Girl Named Jo (2019), Yellowstone (2019 to 2022) and The Baxters (2024).
Caster is 26-years-old and believed to be single.

Lilah Pate as London
Lilah Pate is an actress best known for The Summer I Turned Pretty (2022), Monster Summer (2024), Outer Banks (2020 to 2024) and The Runarounds (2025). She will play London in the series, a local cheerleader who isn't afraid to use her good looks to get what she wants.
"Not in the least calm, cool and collected," Pate wrote on Instagram following the casting announcement. "A moment I'll never ever forget."
Pate is 22-years-old and believed to be single.
Savanna Gann as Avery
Savanna Gann will play Avery, a friend of London's. Prior to this, she was in Tell Me Lies (2022), English Teacher (2024 to 2025) and His & Hers (2026).
"Excited about this one," Gann wrote on Instagram following the casting announcement.
Gann is 26-years-old and originally from Ventura, California.
