“IT WAS ENTIRELY PLATONIC”: WOMAN WHO ALLEGEDLY DATED DAVID HARBOUR SPEAKS OUT AFTER BEING KICKED OUT OF A PARTY HOSTED BY ONE OF LILY ALLEN’S FRIENDS

A woman who was allegedly kicked out of a party thrown by one of singer Lily Allen’s friends because of being linked to actor David Harbour has broken her silence on the matter.

On February 20, Allen’s producer, Blue May, was celebrating his birthday with friends and loved ones at his home in Beachwood Canyon in Los Angeles, according to TMZ. It was there that Allen’s friends discovered that Morgan Cozzi, a woman who was photographed with Harbour last year, was attending the same party, noted the news outlet. A source told the news outlet that Cozzi was at the bash as a “friend of a friend.”

Even as Allen was in London and did not attend the party, TMZ reports that Cozzi and her friends were allegedly asked to leave the party by security personnel.

Now, Cozzi revealed her side of the story while speaking to Page Six. Cozzi claimed that she, in fact, never dated Harbour. As per Page Six, Cozzi stated,

“I have never dated him. We met in a park once and had a brief conversation and it was entirely platonic in nature. We are not in a relationship and never have been. In fact, I have not spoken with him since that day.”

Cozzi also referred to the party incident and said that, from her side, there was “no ill-will [about the party] and that she hoped that “everyone had a wonderful time celebrating!,” according to Page Six.

All the same, Cozzi also pointed to people’s quick perceptions with regard to women, and while speaking to Page Six, said,

“It’s unfortunate how easily people can assume the worst about a woman for simply speaking to a man. I hope we can shift that mindset and celebrate the strength and grace women bring to the world.”

 

David Harbour was seen walking with Morgan Cozzi months after news of his split with Lily Allen broke out

Lily Allen and David Harbour split in early 2025, four years after they married in 2020, according to People Magazine. At the time, various sources confirmed the news to the media outlet. A source even recounted to People Magazine that the former couple had been having trouble in their marriage. The source stated,

“Her marriage has been crumbling and they have split.”

As per People Magazine, the ex-couple had met on the celebrity dating app Raya and eventually tied the knot in a Las Vegas ceremony.

 

In October 2025, Allen released her album, West End Girl. According to The List, Allen claimed in multiple songs of her album that Harbour cheated on her repeatedly throughout their marriage. According to E! News, Allen, during a conversation with CBS Mornings, referred to the album’s place in her life and stated,

“Since I've put it out, it's felt completely and utterly liberating. It was kind of hellish having it in the background. I don't know. I just feel like I couldn't—it said everything that I needed to say. And I felt like I couldn't really, like, get on with my life until I'd said it.”

Then, in November 2025, Harbour was photographed walking with Morgan Cozzi in New York City, as per Metro. The appearance came amid rumors of Harbour’s alleged infidelity. At the time, netizens assumed that Harbour and Cozzi were dating even though neither of them confirmed the rumors, as per Metro.
